Information technology is widely used to facilitate the management of this knowledge in health organizations. The primary aim of this study was to identify the acceptance of the use of electronic services by employees; it also aimed at developing a success model of knowledge management system by the information technology acceptance model (TAM) to investigate the effect of knowledge content quality and knowledge management system quality on the actual use of information technology to share knowledge in nurses. Methodology: Structural equation modeling (SEM) technique was employed in the present study. For this purpose, a questionnaire was used to collect the data from 254 nurses out of the population of 750 nurses in private hospitals in Rasht (Aria, Gil, Family, and Pars hospitals). The collected data were analyzed using SPSS and SMART PLS2 softwares. Results: The results of the analysis and the research model fit showed that the quality of knowledge content using the variables of perceived usefulness and user satisfaction and the intention to use information technology had a direct and positive relationship, but the quality of knowledge management system had a direct and inverse effect on user satisfaction.
